March for Life Info

Saturday 7 December, 2019

Gather at Civic Square in Wellington Central from 12pm for family friendly entertainment, a sausage sizzle and stalls.

Rally and March begins at 2pm from Civic Square.

The March will conclude at Parliament Grounds at approximately 4pm.

There will be music, speeches, opportunities to network and an atmosphere of joy and hope.

National March for Life 2019 Schedule

2pm    Opening address at Civic Centre
Proceed to Parliament Grounds
Speeches by pro-life advocates
Singing of the National Anthem
4pm Conclusion

Note:  A variety of activities and opportunities to network will be available both before and after the 2019 National March for Life.  The activities are not organised by the National March for Life but you can find them listed here so that you can make the most of your visit to Wellington for this most important event.

The aims of the March:

  • Celebrate life.
  • Increase public awareness of abortion, and its impact on women, families and society while highlighting the alternatives and support available to the abortion-vulnerable.
  • Bring all New Zealander’s of good will together, united in the one common vision of making abortion unthinkable.
