YOU’RE INVITED TO THE 2021 NATIONAL MARCH FOR LIFE

Saturday 4 December, 2021

Gather at Civic Square in Wellington Central from 1pm
for family friendly entertainment, a sausage sizzle and stalls.

March begins at 2pm from Civic Square.

The March will conclude at Parliament Grounds at approximately 4pm.

There will be music, speeches, opportunities to network and an atmosphere of joy and hope.

A variety of activities and opportunities to network will be available both before and after the 2021 National March for Life.  The activities are not organised by the National March for Life but you can find them listed here so that you can make the most of your visit to Wellington for this most important event.


THE AIMS OF THE MARCH

  • Celebrate life.
  • Remember the more than 500,000 pre-born babies who have lost their lives to abortion.
  • Increase public awareness of abortion, and its impact on women, families and society.
  • Peacefully protest the practice and legality of abortion.
  • Bring all New Zealander’s of good will together, united in the one common vision of making abortion unthinkable.

The first National March for Life, December 2017 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the passing of the Contraception, Sterilisation, and Abortion Act which made exceptions for abortion in NZ.

The National March for Life will take place at Alert Level 1 (Wellington).
